I am a filmmaker, writer, and the founder of Vienna City Filmmaking Academy. I studied film directing in Vienna, Austria, and professional filmmaking in Hamburg, Germany. I also hold a diploma in professional video design from Vienna and have extensive experience in the field.
I founded Storlem Media, a film and media production company, and worked for several years as a cultural journalist for magazines such as Dubai Cultural, Al-Sada, and Shahrazad, writing about art, culture, and life in Europe.
I have several published works, including the novel Letters to Nothingness, translated into both German and English, and But You Were Never Gone, a book of selected literary texts. My theoretical book The Power of Emptiness explores how visual and dramatic spaces affect audience perception and emotional response.
I’ve been teaching directing, screenwriting, and filmmaking for over five years at Vienna City Filmmaking Academy, which I founded.
I’m passionate about mentoring emerging writers and filmmakers, helping them craft their ideas and bring their creative visions to life through guidance, consultation, and hands-on development.
